Innovenn and Improvita announce Jeff Horvath as new Director of Human Factors

The industry veteran brings over 25 years of experience in User Experience (UX) and Human Factors (HF) to the privately held pharmaceutical and device services company.

MADISON, Wisc.– Innovenn, which provides consulting services in pharmaceutical, device, and software as a medical device (SaMD) development, and its affiliate Improvita, which offers design implementation of HF engineering full-service programs, today announced the appointment of Jeff Horvath as Director, Human Factors. Jeff, of Evansville, WI, has an extensive background in HF engineering and a proven history of enhancing product safety and usability. He has a depth of experience leading and conducting all aspects of UX research and design including qualitative and quantitative user research, UX design for digital and print, UX and HF testing, and compliance with regulatory frameworks in the US and globally.

In this role, Jeff will spearhead initiatives to integrate HF principles into the design and development process, ensuring that products are user-friendly, intuitive, and optimized for human interaction. With a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors, Jeff will lead efforts to enhance the overall UX, driving innovation and differentiation in the marketplace.

Jeff has accrued this experience through an exceptional career. Prior to joining Innovenn and Improvita, he was the President & Founder of Balanced Experience, a collection of skilled and experienced professionals and partnerships that assist clients with their HF and UX needs. He also served as the Vice President of User Experience Strategy for Human Factors International, a global leader in User Experience consulting and training.

Jeff earned his Ph.D., in Educational Psychology and his Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
