Board of Advisors Member
Mike is a member of Innovenn’s Board of Advisors. He has over 28 years of experience in the areas of research and development and the commercialization of in vitro diagnostic products. Mike is currently heading up the Exact Science’s Product Accelerator program where he utilizes his expertise to fast-track products from inception to launch. Previously, Mike was Vice President of Product Development where he led the Cologuard assay development team which was responsible for design, development, and operational transfer of the Cologuard product. In addition, Mike designed and coordinated the performance studies for the Cologuard FDA submission. Prior to working at Exact Sciences, Mike held R&D leadership positions at Pel-Freeze Clinical Systems, Eppendorf 5-Prime, and Thirdwave Technologies, where he successfully led the development and launch of many reagent and diagnostic products and has numerous approved patents and publications to his credit. Mike has MS and PhD degrees in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
